Swedish princess Victoria to marry gym trainer
Swedish Crown Princess Victoria is gonna marry her fitness trainer Daniel Westling in a luxurious ceremony which will be held on Saturday (19/06/2010) in Stockholm. Around 200000 people are expected to attend the event as Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will travel through the city in a horse pulled carriage. This weekend wedding represents another example of a member of royal family to marry an individual with absolutely no royal roots. Many may ask themselves is such a relationship will survive regarding the fact that there will be a high pressure and attention on the person with no royal roots. The recent years revealed several happy end tales involving monarchy members and non-royal individuals: UK's Prince William has been dating Kate Middleton and there are roumors that the couple will get engaged soon. Denmark's Prince Frederik married Autralian Mary Elizabeth Donaldson whom he met in a pub during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. They married in 2004 and have two children. There are also exmples of "royal-non royal" couple marriages that have not ended well such as Prince Andrew - Sarah Fergusson, Prince Charles - (late) Princess Diana.
