Romania swine flu - half of the country regions confirm infections

The swine flu spreads quite fast in Romania, Bucharest and 21 out of 40 counties confirming AH1N1 virus contaminations. In the last 24 hours 91 new cases of mexican flu infections were reported raising to 672 the total number of those infected. On Tuesday, the health state secretary Adrian Streinu-Cercel resigned after predicting that more than 20000 people will die in Romania due to swine flu. Streinu was advised not to appear in public anymore because he induces panic in the country. The last number of confirmed cases in the last period is supposed to be caused by the expansion of the AH1N1 virus in many schools from Iasi, Dolj, Prahova counties and Bucharest respectively. In order to prevent and diminish the propagation of the virus, all the romanian hospitals had gotten into quarantine on Monday.
