Joran van der Sloot confession in Peru killing case

The Dutch citizen Joran van der Sloot - the main suspect in the dissapearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba - confessed Peru authorities to killing the 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez at Hotel Tac in Lima. Van der Sloot said he did not want to kill Ramirez but was constrained to do so because she found on his computer some evidence that connected him to the dissapearance of Alabama's Natalee Holloway in 2005. The Peruvian Police stated that Stephany Ramires was found dead with broken neck on the night of June 1 and according to the video evidence she was killed one day earlier. Previously the dutch killer was arrested two times in relation to Holloway's missing but he was set free due to lack of evidence. After slaying Ramirez on May 30, Van der Sloot flew to Chile were the police arrested him on Thursday and sent him back to Peru on Friday. In Peru there is no death penalty or life sentence but van der Sloot could get 35 years in prison.
