Germany and Hannover 96 goalkeeper Robert Enke dies at 32 after hit by train

Robert Enke the goalkeeper of Germany national football team and Hannover 96 club, died at age 32 after being involved in a train accident. Following preliminary investigations, the police suspects a suicide attempt. Enke was deadly wounded at a level crossing northwest of Hannover. In 2006 the player lost Lara - his 2 year old daughter - who died because of rare heart problems and now Enke left behind his wife Teresa and an eight-month-old adopted daughter. According to investigators, Hannover's goalie was hit by a regio train en route between Norddeich and Hannover at a railway passing in Neustadt am Rubenberge and died at the site. Robert Enke played 8 games for Germany and orso for soccer clubs such as Jena, FC Barcelona, Benfica, Fenerbahce, Tenerife before coming back to Budesliga in 2004 and joining Hannover 96.
