David Cameron changes plans after taliban threat

The UK prime minister David Cameron was constrained to cancel a visit to a british military base in Afghanistan after the army discovered an assassination plot. Cameron was already flying by helicopter to Shahzad base located in the Helmand province when two phone conversations between the taliban insurgents were intercepted. The conversations were suggesting the intention of shooting down a helicopter carrying a VIP aboard. At that moment the military staff decided to cancel the visiting schedule.
